FAQ

  • SupraHemo™ is a highly effective hemostatic formulation that can be seamlessly blended with chitosan into textile materials during the early production phase, resulting in a powerful hemostatic gauze. Its incorporation enhances the hemostatic mechanism of chitosan, enabling our products to more efficiently help stop bleeding.

  • The SupraHemo™ formula—a critical factor in boosting the interaction between blood and gauze components. By enhancing the electrostatic charge on the gauze surface, the formula facilitates superior binding with cells and proteins, creating a natural hemostatic effect. This accelerates the coagulation process, delivering rapid clot formation and effective bleeding control like never before.

In addition to its innovative SupraHemo™ mechanism, the gauze’s specialized design optimizes absorption and ensures uniform blood distribution. Its lightweight, breathable structure enables unparalleled comfort and functionality, making Vita Phoenix™ a superior solution for critical bleeding scenarios.

  • Please get in touch with us via our Contact Us page.

  • Yes. In cases of severe bleeding, Vita Phoenix™ should remain on the wound until medical personnel take over and remove it. Because our hemostatic material is woven into the gauze using textile technology, it hardly sheds any particles or fibers. Once removed, the wound only needs to be cleaned with water or saline.

In addition, due to the design of X-ray detectable radiopaque lines, medical personnel can quickly locate the gauze, eliminating any concern about it being unintentionally left behind in the wound.

  • The shelf life of Vita Phoenix™ is 5 years from the sterilization date.

  • Not at all; it actually promotes rapid wound healing and reduces scarring.

  • No, it does not.

  • Please refer to the instructions for each product.

  • According to case reports worldwide, there have been no instances of confirmed or suspected allergic reactions to chitosan.

  • If your eyes sting, rinse with water for five minutes.

  • Do not consume. Although Vita Phoenix™ is non-toxic, it is not intended for ingestion. When it comes into contact with liquids, it absorbs moisture, including in the digestive tract, which may cause discomfort. If ingested, please drink water to help prevent discomfort.

  • Please store the product in a dry place away from direct sunlight; no special storage conditions are required.

    Please note:

Once opened and used, discard all remaining product as it will lose its sterility.

Reusing it may pose an infection risk.

  • Vita Phoenix™ is a sterile product intended for single use only. However, once opened, it can be used to treat multiple wounds on one patient.

Once opened, do not store any unused Vita Phoenix™ for future use, as the product will lose its sterility and its hemostatic performance may be compromised.

  • Wounds on the chest or abdomen are generally classified as non-compressible. Most guidelines (e.g., TCCC) advise against using hemostatic agents on non-compressible wounds. Although, in principle, there is no contraindication to using Vita Phoenix™ on such areas, extreme cases require clinical judgment.

  • Vita Phoenix™ works through a purely physical mechanism, independent of the body’s normal clotting process, and thus can be effective for such patients.

  • Under normal circumstances, we recommend that Vita Phoenix™ be removed from the wound within 24 hours.
